This week I am thankful for:
A warm slice of home-baked pie topped with cold vanilla ice cream melting down the sides.
The attitude of gratitude brought to the surface during this season of thanks. It's one I strive for all year long. The giving of thanks truly changes my heart.
Three generations of family coming together to each contribute to a wonderful meal and gathering of love. Many hands truly does make for light work. (Until time to clean up...then some of the hands disappear. Haha!)
Frosty cold mornings giving way to gorgeous sunny afternoons.
A lovely pair of pants with a hint of stretch assuring my comfort after consuming above feast...oh my.
Generous hearts inviting the widows, orphans, lonely and unloved to join around their tables and be loved.
Every one of you precious readers who have taken a moment to hear my heart, those who commented (or didn't - because I love that you stop by just to read), those who have personally e-mailed and especially those who have whispered a prayer for my sister and her family through what has been a difficult season. Thank you....truly.
What are you thankful for?
May your weekend be filled with wonder, laced with peace and bursting with love...
(Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good: his love endures forever. Psalm 118:1)
