I am receiving your lesson this morning-we need to open our eyes to all the people in our "neighborhood". God opens our eyes in unexpected ways and we are all the same-in need of a Saviour. The truck was a total loss. No one stopped for him. (He was able to call 911)

Fear is such a terrible limiter, isn't it? This person in the house could have been some solace to your husband, but just couldn't do it, limited by fear. It is very wonderful that she called 911, don't get me wrong, but how sad that she couldn't stand by him.

And look who did stop! The Samaritan, right? Someone you would never expect, someone that was probably not held in much esteem. What lessons our Lord is teaching us every day, in every thing.
Thank you for sharing your awful morning, I am so happy that all is well. The truck can be replaced, but not your precious husband. Give him a big kiss today :)
Blessings,
CeilCeilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06293917798735764739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-646801851034753736.post-49149745346132542542013-11-23T02:24:56.549-08:002013-11-23T02:24:56.549-08:00Your story brought tears to my eyes, Mindy. I am thankful for the many times God has put in motion the necessary steps to assure that my husband is appointed to a ministry that fits the gifts and graces God has given him. Just when we have felt either overwhelmed by resistance or bone dry of ideas, God opens a way. So glad He was watching out for your hubby that day. His mercy is new every morning!Pam Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08430692684579547400noreply@blogger.com
