Giving Thanks Friday
This week I am thankful for:
Having my husband home for the week of staycation. We had play time (shopping, the beach, family barbecue and a Mexican fiesta), project time (cleaning the outside of the house and some paint touch-ups, a new garden bed complete with a rototiller mishap resulting in a bruised knee for my hubby that might or might not have been because I am not as strong as I don't look...)
Another year of life. July is my Birthday month and while not everything about getting older is great, (reading glasses, hot flashes, a memory that is not as good as it used to be - wait, what was I saying...) I am more than thankful to God that I get the chance to experience each stage as it comes. And I pray I do it with grace.
People who speak the truth and do it in love, real love. These are the ones who make a difference in a forever kind of way.
The green in the garden. The cherry tomatoes are big and green, the baby zucchini are a couple inches long and the cucumbers are just forming. The first batch of spinich is finished and some lettuce is ready to pick again. Miracles, every one, if you ask me.
The two little mini's above (we are dog sitting this weekend) and their much loved owners (our daughter and son-in-law). They are so full of adventure (the mini's and the owners)!
What are you thankful for?
May your weekend be filled with many reasons to give thanks!
