Sun and Moon

Yesterday, we were in love

the sun and I

softly warming my back as I transplanted leeks

pinking my cheeks while I moved some stone

lulling me to dreamily sleepiness as I rested with iced tea

and a garden book.

But it was the moon who whispered outside my window

rousing me from sleep last night

freshly washed from a lunar eclipse

high and bright in the sky

calling me

to flirt a while.

  4. Hi Mindy! What beautiful photos! I love the moon one...it was so stormy here we didn't get a change to see the 'blood moon'. How fun that you did, and got a special wake-up call to see it all too.
    Blessings for a wonderful Easter,
    Ceil

  7. Mindy, I love the image of flirting with the moon. I would want to flirt with such a large and inviting moon, too.
