Giving Thanks Friday (and a winner!)
This week I am thankful for:
Our garage/shop roofing supplies that are being delivered today! I know, boring right, but we really needed it to get done while the weather is still mild and the rain is spotty at best. It also means we can finish up the painting on that building too.
Being able to share one another's burdens. I have had many friends do this for me and I am grateful to return to the favor. We were not created to go it alone.
A baby shower this weekend for two precious babies (TWINS - one boy and one girl!) set to arrive in December. Can hardly wait to squeeze these wee ones.
My husband's job. His company is selling several of their holdings but has purposed to pour more time and money into this one. So very thankful!
Laughter. It's been one of those weeks where (due to hormones I do believe...) I felt as if I were back in junior high all over again: Awkward, moody, emotional, body issues...You get the picture. Thankful for family and friends to share with and laugh with during this season of life.
The transforming power of a $2.99 can of spray paint. Now an old piece has new life.

Grace. Grace received. Grace given. Grace undeserved.
What are you thankful for?
May your weekend be filled with wonder, laced with peace and bursting with love...

Hi Mindy!! I am thankful that I won! Wow, I never expected it. Please be sure to thank your wonderful husband for me. I'll email you my information. Thank you so much, you made my day!
ReplyDeleteI love that photo with the pumpkins, so cute! And so fall-like. I am so happy and thankful for my family, especially my sisters. They are my best friends, and even though we live in different states, we are only a phone call away. I am truly blessed.
Have a wonderful weekend, and YAY!
Ceil
Congratulation, Ceil. This book sounds so wonderful - a true gift!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have had a challenging week, Mindy. Thank goodness for supportive family and friends and your wonderful sense of humour!
I am thankful the weekend is here. It's been a very busy week. I'm also thankful that after days and days of brainstorming, I think I have come up with a good chili recipe to enter into a Texas Star Chili contest. I desperately want to win this year because I was convinced I won last year and I didn't even make the top 3, lol.
Have a great weekend, my friend!
Congratulations to Ceil!
ReplyDeleteIt's a joy to stop by, dear friend. Your words are always wonderful to read. I was so touched by something you said, "Grace. Grace received. Grace given. Grace undeserved." AMEN! THank you for these words. Love and hugs to you!
I love that last line too:
