Love of two
This is my commandment:
Love each other
in the same way I have loved you.
Love each other with genuine affection,
and take delight
in honoring each other.
Two are better than one.
Thank you Lord for the one you gave me
who loves me
who loves me
who is willing to get wet with me
to swim along side
in the calm waters
and in the rough.
(John 15:12, Romans 12:10, Ecc. 4:9 NLT)

These are such beautiful and precious words from God's Holy Word. I was blessed by your post, dear friend, and not only were the words wonderful, but the photos were also lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you joined us at Roses of Inspiration! Have a blessed Thursday! Hugs to you!
This was precious, Mindy!

Sweetness! Such encouragement. Thanks for linking up at #ThreeWordWednesday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and words, Mindy! Thanks for this :).
ReplyDeleteOh Mindy...this is such a beautiful post. The photos are just so lovely and peaceful with just the perfect words. Enjoy your Thursday :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so timely. I hear the brokenhearted. The blindsided. The abandoned. They are all around and I want to remember that what I have with Monte is A GIFT. That no matter what leaks or gets dusty or goes over budget: WE HAVE EACH OTHER to swim along with. And that is worth more than anything shiney and new. Thank you for that reminder.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful for the one God connected me with also. We've been apart for a couple days and I miss him. Looking forward to the weekend!
ReplyDeletesweet pictures, and lovely words!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and such a wonderful post. I always like reading these kinds of posts when we thank God for our partners. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteAw. You are blessed to have found that someone with you.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures you used are also lovely.
Beautiful, Mindy! In all of life's moments--from calm to crazy-- it's such a gift to have a friend, partner, mainstay, and confidante all rolled in to one good and godly man. Thank you for reminding me to be grateful for my gift.
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy, another beautiful post, love the pictures....so perfect!
ReplyDeleteI've visited here 3 times now and enjoyed this more and more each time, Mindy. I thought I had commented but I guess I was too caught up in the beauty of it all - the written words, their meaning, the photos. Only someone who has known true love could write so poignantly about it. Thank you for some truly beautiful moments, my friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful post!!
ReplyDeleteSimple and so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, both the sentiments and the photos! And they look so peaceful gliding through the water ... but the real beauty comes in knowing how hard they are working beneath the surface ... a lot like real love and marriage!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to have found you through #the4500 ;)
