Love of two

This is my commandment:
Love each other 
in the same way I have loved you.


Love each other with genuine affection,
and take delight 
in honoring each other.


Two are better than one.



Thank you Lord for the one you gave me

 who loves me

who is willing to get wet with me

to swim along side

in the calm waters

and in the rough.

    This is so timely. I hear the brokenhearted. The blindsided. The abandoned. They are all around and I want to remember that what I have with Monte is A GIFT. That no matter what leaks or gets dusty or goes over budget: WE HAVE EACH OTHER to swim along with. And that is worth more than anything shiney and new. Thank you for that reminder.

    Beautiful, both the sentiments and the photos! And they look so peaceful gliding through the water ... but the real beauty comes in knowing how hard they are working beneath the surface ... a lot like real love and marriage!
