A package of treats - for me!
Last month I received a standard padded manilla envelope in the mail. When I saw the name on the return address I knew it was a Birthday gift that Anne from anne b. good had offered to one of her readers in honor of her own birthday. I had thrown my name into the drawing and here is what I found inside:
She had actually wrapped the gift (and it just happens to be Seahawk colors) and put a ribbon on it - what fun for me to open!
When I opened the package - another surprise! There were four small gifts inside, each one wrapped individually - I felt like a little kid all over again.
The first gift I opened was this bag of Twizzlers that she had remembered I loved from a comment I had made - how sweet. I may or may not have opened these to snack on while I opened the remainder of the gifts...
The next package contained these cute puffy elephant stickers (with a few hearts to boot). I knew these would be fun to put on cards and envelopes and make the recipients smile as much as I was doing when I opened them : )
The third package had this scented soap and I loved how it was local to Anne's area and something that I would not find here locally.
The final package was this special hand beaded necklace made by one of her tenants.
Just look at the sweet starfish beads and those turquoise turtles - love them! I loved the thoughtfulness she put into choosing the gifts and the lovely tags added such a special touch. Besides her blog you can find Anne on Facebook and Instagram as well where she documents each week and also posts the pictures to her blog. She definitely made MY day recently - thank you once again Anne!
